Cloud Disaster Recovery Sales (m/w)

Our client is seeking an Sales Executive to join their team in Germany. This position will report to the General Manager, Disaster Recovery (USA). The Sales Executive is a sales specialist role working with the inside sales and partners to develop the sales from Disaster Recovery solutions and services to new prospects.

The position is responsible for a territory specific quota and managing the sales of backup and disaster recovery services in a cloud delivery model. The ideal candidate must possess the proven self-motivated and entrepreneurial ability to sell into the SMB, SME and Enterprise markets directly and through channel partners.

Your Tasks:
  • Sales specialist to work with geography sales teams and channel partners to qualify opportunities and assist in driving qualified opportunities to successful closure
  • Responsible for new business qualification, forecasting, accurate solution scoping and pricing, proposal development, sales cycle and pipeline management, contract negotiation, closure, account management and sales related administrative reporting
  • Exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals against assigned territory quota
  • Maintain a high-level of knowledge regarding the competitive and technological landscape for backup, storage, virtualization and disaster recovery technologies
  • Conduct WebEx and PowerPoint presentations and demonstrations to new prospects
  • Plan strategies with our marketing team to pursue identify significant market opportunities
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, attend events and marketing functions as required

Your Profile:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in selling technology solutions and services
  • Speak both German and English
  • Successful experience in selling solutions to both technical and non-technical buyers at various levels to solve backup, storage, virtualization, disaster recovery and business continuity needs
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain executive level relationships
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Professional appearance and manner
  • Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems
  • Experience in managing complex sales cycles requiring the orchestration of multiple resources
  • Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) and Salesforce.com
  • Ability to manage parallel opportunities and activities to meet designated deadlines
